The Update is a weekly compilation of cases that affect Florida property owners and businesses, written in a simple and concise manner for busy practitioners and transmitted every weekend in an easy to read email. The Business and Real Estate Update Blawg expands on the Update, and covers one case each week in greater detail, focusing on issues and trends in Florida law.

Mr. Farach is simultaneously board certified by The Florida Bar in Real Estate Law and Business Litigation, and practices in both areas with an emphasis on real estate and business law, appellate litigation, and lender representation. In addition, Mr. Farach counsels businesses and individuals in complex transactions as part of his business practice, and his experience advising businesses includes time spent as outside general counsel for a savings and loan association. Mr. Farach is the author of Florida Real Estate Law, the real property component of West’s Florida Practice series, and is a Vice-Chair of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions for Business Cases. Mr. Farach has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association for over twenty years and has significant FINRA (formerly the NASD) arbitration experience, and can advise businesses and clients from a complete perspective from transactional to litigation to technology issues. Mr. Farach is listed in Best Lawyers in America, Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Law and Politics’ Florida SuperLawyer and holds an “AV” Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Farach has served as an adjunct professor of Real Estate Law at the Florida State University College of Law and of Business Law at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
